Credit Card Online Approval

February 8th, 2008

If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!

I personally stay away from Credit Cards, especially those Credit Card Online Approval ones. These are ones where you can go to a specific website and enter all your info and have an answer in anywhere from minutes to a few days time.

I am not saying that they are not safe to use… I personally stay away from them because I do not have the fortitude to not charge when I don’t have the money to pay it back, so I simply don’t have a credit card and definitely stay away from Credit Card Online Approval sites.

But the other day I was looking around and saw something very interesting on this Credit Card Online Approval website. They link to a very resourceful Credit Bible that would be great for anyone to build an awesome credit line in a very short period of time. This is something even I want to do.

Having a perfect credit background in todays world is almost impossible, but it can be done as that book says and I have ordered mine and  just need to sit down and digest it. I am going to be one of those very few with a perfect credit background by following what is in that book.

Anyway, in a nutshell, if you have the fortitude to not charge till you drop, maybe one of those Credit Card Online Approval  sites are just what you need, But I would check out that credit bible before doing it.

DJ the Dee Jay

November 9th, 2007

I wanted to talk a little bit about a business that I personally know about, based in Niagara Falls, NY called DJ the Dee Jay.

DJ the Dee Jay building

They offer all kinds of services to their customers so I want to be sure I touch base on all of them.

  • Major and minor automotive repairs and parts.
  • NAPA Autocare center.
  • Tuxedos.
  • Limousines for all occasions.
  • Budget truck rentals.
  • Dee Jay services for all occasions.
  • Business card ordering.
  • Custom rubber stamps.

There may be even more than that list I just gave you, just call them and ask. You will find everyone there very nice and helpful.

The biggest reason I wanted to talk about this particular company is because of the things they have done since I have known them, which makes the whole group of the owners and staff very special and not like any other business you will find anywhere.

When I moved up to Niagara Falls this past summer, I found out the non-profit company I had worked with for over 5 years all of a sudden had no money to pay me any longer. This placed me in a very bad position financially and I had nowhere to go. I was living out of my van and finding it difficult to find a place to park where I would be left alone and not bother anyone.

The owners Dave, Sharon and Matt Miller allowed me to park there at the business to help watch the premises during the night and help out during the day. This is astounding and shows the type of people they are….exceptional. They would buy lunches, knowing I could not afford to buy any food myself and made sure I was clean, etc.

Carlee, who called me Van Dweller before she knew my name (Ivan Dweller is what I told her….LOL), is one of the office staff and would bring me meals from home to be sure I was always fed….good spaghetti Carlee!!! :-)

Bennie is the night watchman and can be grumpy at times, but once you get to know him you will find a very nice guy who is a straight shooter, a no bones about it kind of guy. Whoops, did I just say that? Oh no, don’t want to ruin your reputation Bennie….oh well, too late.

John Lobaugh, the shop manager and mechanic is an incredibly nice man and an excellent mechanic who would always help me out by buying my crutch - cigarettes and sometimes breakfast and even cash when I needed it. I can talk to John about anything….best of buds.

I can’t thank all of them enough, so this is why they are all so important to me….enjoy my friends!

Dave, Matt and John from DJ the Dee Jay

So, in this picture, Dave Miller is in the red shirt, Matt Miller (should I say something?….na, I will leave you alone on this post…LOL) is on the left and John Lobaugh is standing behind them. This picture was taken the night of the last 2007 Cruise they had during the summer.

Another day I will post pictures taken at the last 2007 cruise….there were some cool cars there. But, I want everyone to know that these people are dedicated to their work and are deserving of a lot out of life. If you live in the area, or are coming to the area, please stop by and utilize their services, call and make arrangements to be picked up from the airport….whatever you need that they can provide, please do it.

Here is the company info:

Catherine Seabrook Foundation

November 8th, 2007

I have to tell you that the Catherine Seabrook Foundation is an awesome site, setup in memory of a very special little girl who was taken by a very unique disease. It is a site that everyone should go see to experience what it is like to have a little person in your life who slowly withers away. A site where you will see the love and dedication of a mother and brother who fought for her life, a life that others wanted to rip apart by using her as a guinea pig, sent to a special care center or both.

This is something that you rarely get a chance to see. A mother pouring her heart out for others to see the anguish and torn heart that only a mother can go through in this kind of circumstance. Catherine Milkovich has done an incredible job of trying very hard to explain the situation her little child went through without showing the tears that came with years and years of battling with doctors, nurses, specialists and even her own loved ones. Loved ones who ended up abandoning her, her Son and daughter.

Catherine Milkovich should really write a book about all that she had to endure. I am really in awe of this woman and the strength she has shown to pull her family through what has to be the toughest thing anyone could ever be asked to do in their lifetime. Go check out the Catherine Seabrook Foundation site now.
